Kerala Backwater Extended Weekend (2 Nights / 3 Days)
Day 01 Cochin – Munnar
On arrival
at Cochin airport / Ernakulam Railway station, you will be greeted by our
representative and transferred to Munnar (140 Kms / 04 Hrs). Throughout the
journey enjoy beautiful streams small waterfalls, Rubber, Pepper, cardamom and
Tea plantations and thick forests. On arrival at Munnar, check-in at the hotel.
PM: At leisure. Overnight stay is in Hotel in Munnar.
Day 02 Munnar
After
breakfast we take you for a visit to the breathtaking attractions of Munnar -
covering - Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden,
Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary & Tea Plantation. You will be back
to the hotel with the most cherishing memories of Munnar. Overnight stay is in
Hotel in Munnar.
Day 03 Munnar – Houseboat
After
breakfast checkout from Munnar hotel at 0730hrs and we will transfer you to Alleppey (190kms 5hrs) to
board the houseboat. 1230 hrs check-in at the Houseboat. Rest of the day is at
leisure on the Houseboat. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the
narrow serene backwater canals and seen in breathing green, the village
slumbers by the Vembanadu Lake. On cruise scenery flashes up vivid contrasts of
lush green and deep blues. As the boat glider along the gorgeous green of the
fringed palms the ripples in the blue water blend in to little wavelets. Lunch,
Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and overnight stay is on Houseboat.
Day 04 Houseboat – Cochin (Departure)
Enjoy the
morning on the houseboat viewing the natural vistas and the sightseeing spots.
After breakfast check-out from the Houseboat at 0900 Hrs and we transfer you to
the Cochin airport / Railway station, en-route on a complimentary sightseeing
The Dutch Palace, Jews Street, St. Francis Church, and Chinese Fishing Net and
the Indo Portuguese and the Jewish Synagogue.
